“ Amazing food!! We were booked to go to the opposite restaurant and left disappointed as they ran out of chicken and was too crowded for good service. So glad we found Char Grill right opposite! Deliciously grilled chicken and the greek dressing sauce was soo good. Clean, friendly and accommodating service. We left satisfied with a happy tummy. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Auckland. ”

“ What a great find! Had such a tasty dinner there. I had the Lamb Shank and my husband had the Shish Kebab’s. Both had suburb flavor. Served with fluffy long grain rice, salad, hummus, yogurt and pitas. Oh my, do come hungry and you’ll be licking your plate! Also, had a fantastic Shrimp appetizer. Service was spectacular. Sunel was our server and he was such a nice person and took very good care of us. Thank you for everything Sunel! ”

We were served by a super friendly lady, who seems to really care about this place and giving people a great experience. The food was outstanding. Huge portions! “ Decided to try out this restaurant after seeing many good reviews about it. But was surprised that there were no customers at about 7pm on a Sunday night. However, food was good and service was good as well! Boss and staff were really friendly :) We loved the Moroccan pizza! A flavour that we’ve not tasted before and thickness is just right. The mixed (chicken & beef) platter was delicious as well! We ordered lamb kebab and it was yumz too. The only underwhelming one was probably the seafood platter. The boss also gave us some chilli to try out and it was really spicy! We loved it Overall, it was a good experience :) thanks for your hospitality- lots of love from Malaysia! ”

I also got the chocolate banana muffin and it was so moist and exactly what I wanted. The coffees were top notch. Our server was friendly. It had a great relaxed and welcoming vibe, and was conveniently opened 24/7. ”
